Cllr. Jacqui Hooper has welcomed the resurfacing of the pavement on Llanidloes Road.

Following a request from Cllr. Ann Rowland-James, residents in Llanidloes Road in Llandaff North are now having had their pavement surfaced.

Work began this week, and already the street has seen a marked improvement.

Cllr. Ann said: "I continue to campaign for streets in the ward to be brought up to a good standard, and am delighted that this work has now been completed."

Even though the Labour/Plaid Assembly has cut Cardiff Council's budget for highway repairs by £750,000 this year, the Lib Dem Council continue to ensure that essential works like this get carried out.

Cllr. Jacqui Hooper said: "Despite cuts, it is vital that repairs like this are not ignored. We need to ensure that roads and pavements are kept in a good order."
